Physical Therapist

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to join our growing practice who will improve the patient's quality of life and movement through prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers * Identify and meet patients' goals and needs * Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery * Delegates aspects of patient care to support staff per PT/PTA MI Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervision * Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards. * Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs * Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Physical Therapist bachelor degree OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program. * Current state of Michigan license certification * Current knowledge of treatment practices
