Preservation Architect vacancy in Los-Angeles USA Preservation Architect - Los Angeles, USA A leading architectural firm in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. Our company specializes in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures, and we are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for preserving the past while creating functional and sustainable spaces for the present. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and preservation needs Develop plans for restoration, renovation, or adaptive reuse of historic properties while adhering to local building codes and regulations Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of preservation projects Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure adherence to design plans Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of historical structures Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and historic preservation standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
