The Multi-Product Power & Digital department is responsible for FPGA and hardware designs for electronic warfare, radar, and effector products. Job responsibilities of this role include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment, performing system and circuit level analysis, supporting failure investigations, maintaining and creating documentation, hardware and/or logic design, and interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers. The MPD department is seeking a Power & Analog Design Engineer II to join our team. This position is an onsite role. What you will do: Assist with architecture development at the circuit card level. Design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry. Main emphasis is on board-mounted power end use applications. Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers. Assist in layer stack up definition. Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories. Drive to meet schedule concerns. Define schedules for circuit level tasking. Function as an individual contributor. Engage in professional growth and development. Qualifications You Must Have: Masters’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major. Design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with one or more of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost. Design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with analog electronics design, including at least one of the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits. Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, LTSpice, Saber, or other similar tools. Qualifications We Value: 3.0 cumulative GPA desired from an ABET accredited institution. Analog, and/or Power electronics coursework. Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment. A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills. Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured. Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small team level. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
