KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Associate for our Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

• Actively support client-facing teams by contributing to work focused on human resources strategy, human resources shared services, business case development, human resource budget analysis and technology implementations
• Assist organizations in the evaluation and preparation of HR transformations including business case development, economic and financial analysis, process reengineering, AI analysis, shared services implementation and HR information systems analysis
• Proactively leverage KPMG methodologies, tools, technology and techniques to develop deliverables and execute approaches that simplify, redesign, or innovate existing processes and drive efficiencies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and proactively identify opportunities for business development and sales initiatives by developing formal responses to prospective clients seeking advice on their workforce challenges
• Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and adaptability, whether interacting with clients directly at their client site, in the office, or virtually, as required by the demands of the business

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, HR & Leadership, Operations, Information Systems, Information Management, Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Economics, or Global Studies Security and Justice related degree from an accredited college or university
• Must have current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
• Applicant must be eligible for or possess a U.S. Government Security clearance
• Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
• Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
• Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need; you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
