Details of the Physician Assistant opening: Anticipated start date: ASAP Salary: $2028.69 - $2342.90 weekly Anticipated duration of assignment: Perm Anticipated schedule: Days Enjoy peace of mind knowing you can elect Day One Medical Benefits Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant: Provide healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures and practices. Obtain detailed history and perform physical or psychological examinations. Perform or order X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and interprets results. Administer such therapeutic procedures as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care. Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures. Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance. Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required. Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts as to status, treatments and procedures. Provide preventative health care services to long-term patients and arrange consultations and referrals. Qualifications for the Physician Assistant: Master's degree in Health Science. Physician Assistant Certificate of Registration or Certification eligible and Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 2 or more years of Physician Assistant experience. Current certifications: (ACLS, PALS).
