The Senior Logistics Specialist position is tailored for professionals with operational leadership experience in warehouses and logistics centers. The main responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient execution of daily processes, including order preparation, distribution, and transportation coordination. This role is also essential in implementing a new ERP system, training teams, and optimizing operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise order picking and assign daily tasks to warehouse staff.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily and weekly basis.
• Evaluate, provide feedback, and support the performance of the operations team.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and adjust receiving schedules based on daily volume.
• Lead training initiatives for the implementation and use of a new ERP system.

Logistics and Transportation Coordination

• Support the planning and assignment of delivery routes.
• Allocate prepared loads to trucks and drivers.
• Act as the liaison between the warehouse and transportation teams to ensure smooth and efficient distribution.
• Verify on-time departures and delivery service quality.

Required Profile

Experience and Technical Knowledge

• Proven experience leading teams in logistics and/or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning and dispatch processes.
• Familiarity with occupational safety standards and compliance protocols.
• Ability to manage schedules, attendance, and efficient staffing.
• Strong ability to learn new technology and train others on its use.
