Job DescriptionJob Summary and Responsibilities\n\nAs our Urologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Gig Harbor, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Urology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.\n\nYou will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Urologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urological disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.\n\n \n Full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA, a 112 bed Level III trauma center\n \n Robots available onsite.\n \n Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general Urology cases and doing clinic, rounding and surgeries.\n \n There are two other Urologists at this location. Call is shared equally and is currently 1:4 rotation.\n \n Gig Harbor is located on the peninsula in Kitsap County which is surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes and fresh air. Outdoor activities abound including hiking, biking, kayaking and whale watching.\n \n If you prefer to venture off to the city, Seattle is a 45 minute drive or a short ferry ride away.\n\nWe are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.\n\n#HEC\n\nJob Requirements\n\nRequired\n\n\n \n Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution\n \n Board certification or eligibility in Urology\n \n Active or eligible license in the state of Washington\n \n Strong clinical skills with experience in general Urology\n \n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals\n \n Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment\n \n Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families\n\n\n\nWhere You'll Work\n\n\nVirginia Mason Franciscan Health has a rich history of providing exceptional healthcare, dating back to 1891.
