Field Service Technician - NH

M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Service Technician to join the Service Department. This person will be responsible for installing and servicing M. Braun products in the Northeastern United States and Canada. Travel to other areas of the US and Canada occurs as needed. Early career candidates with mechanical or electrical knowledge and a high level of professionalism may also be considered. Core Responsibilities Installing new systems at customer sites and training users on system operation. Maintaining and repairing existing systems and troubleshooting system problems. Performing customer technical support functions onsite and remotely. Establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers. Promptly and courteously resolving questions, requests, and problems. Creating customer quotes for spare parts and service. Maintaining the Company's professional reputation by providing superior customer service. Completing required documentation including installation reports, expense reports, and travel approval forms. Job Requirements Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a plus, but not required. Travel in the Northeast and surrounding area required; travel throughout the U.S. and Canada as needed. Travel approximately 75-80% of the time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly. The Ideal Candidate Strong mechanical, electrical, and training skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve uncommon problems. Customer‑oriented and professional in interactions with customers and end users. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records. Self‑motivated with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. Education Requirements High School Diploma; additional technical training or relevant experience is required. Physical and Mental Requirements Physical: capable of balancing, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, light to heavy lifting and carrying, fine motor tasks, kneeling, pushing, reaching above shoulder, pulling, repetitive motion, standing, sitting, and walking for most of the day. Visual: able to read documents, computer screens, and see system details. Hearing: able to hear and speak on the phone and in person, and to identify hazard sounds and be aware of the environment for safety. Mental: comprehension, organization, reasoning, decision making, communication, and mathematics.
