Job Description
The Manufacturing Assembler will play a key role in assembling components for electronics and industrial equipment within a small team or independently. This position involves working with automated machinery, power tools, and hand tools to ensure high-quality production standards. The assembler is responsible for maintaining safety compliance and contributing to process improvements while benefiting from opportunities for technical training and career advancement on a supervisory track.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately using automated machinery, power tools, and hand tools
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Operate assembly equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle materials and track inventory throughout the production process
- Work collaboratively within a small team or independently on the production line
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Document production activities and assist with record keeping
- Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing assembly role
- Strong manual assembly skills and mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with quality control and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with inventory management
- Effective problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
