Electrical Service Technician

About the role As an Electrical Service Technician, you willbe responsible dafürdiagnosing, repairing, andmaintainingelectrical systems and equipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, minimizingdowntimeand maximizing productivity. You will work independently or as part of a team, both in the field and on-site at client locations, providing exceptional service to our customers. What you’ll do Perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of electrical systems, including but not limited to electrical panels, circuits, motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems. Diagnose electrical problems using various testing devices and equipment and implement effective solutions to resolve issues efficiently. Install, upgrade, andmodifyelectrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities. Provideaccurateand detailed reports on work performed, including observations, recommendations, and time logs. Keep up to date with advancements in electrical technology, codes, and safety standards, and apply knowledge to enhance service delivery andmaintaina high levelofexpertise. Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and inventory to ensure their availability and proper functioning. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safetyprotocols always, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and others. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients, addressing their concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program is preferred. JourneymanElectrician license or equivalent certification isrequired. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components, including their installation, operation, maintenance, and repair. Proficiencyin interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices. Ability to effectively use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
