Summary The Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor leads the warehouse's inventory accuracy and quality assurance functions to ensure inventory integrity, order accuracy, and operational excellence. This position oversees inventory control, quality audits, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while leading a team responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing defects, and supporting exceptional customer service. The ICQA Supervisor partners closely with Operations, IT, Purchasing, Merchandising, Inbound Operations (IB), Safety, Human Resources, and external auditors to improve warehouse performance, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain inventory integrity, and foster a safe, productive work environment. Supervise daily Quality Assurance and Inventory Control operations. Conduct inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse. Investigate inventory variances, shipping errors, and quality issues to determine root causes. Develop and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce recurring errors. Maintain accurate inventory records and department performance metrics. Prepare and distribute quality, inventory, and error reports to management. Coordinate staffing needs and daily workload assignments with department management. Crosstrain employees and provide coverage for key operational positions when necessary. Monitor safety processes and equipment inspections. Maintain required training records, certifications, and safety documentation. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and employee development. Perform administrative duties including attendance, scheduling, overtime, and employee breaks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Work with Q.C. Purchasing and Merchandising teams to ensure vendor compliance and product quality. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Leadership Demonstrated leadership and team development skills. Ability to analyze data and identify trends and root causes. Operational Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to delegate work effectively. Self-motivated with strong initiative. Ability to quickly move throughout a warehouse environment. Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to train, coach, and clearly communicate expectations across all levels of the organization. Education & Experience Associate's degree or technical training preferred. Minimum two years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations. Minimum two years of experience in Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Distribution, or Warehouse Operations.
