Transload Technician Operator (nights)

Position: Transload Technician – Full‑time local employment. Start pay: $16.75 per hour. Core Responsibilities Generate schedule for departing loads to meet shipping schedule. Study incoming load patterns and volumes to estimate load counts. Arrange and oversee loading and unloading of trailers and trucks. Prepare all paperwork for incoming and outgoing loads. Troubleshoot and expedite operations that delay the schedule and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy Farms, Inc. subscribes. Report all environmental issues immediately to supervisor. Read and understand the company’s emergency notification process and review that policy at the work site. Complete paperwork upon receipt. Enter all information into computer programs. Maintain housekeeping: keep office break room, bathrooms, ramp, and load area clean, neat, and free from debris. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Ability to speak, write and read in English. Knowledge of basic math and its applications. Minimal skid‑steer experience a plus. Ability to hook and unhook a tractor‑trailer a plus. Verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team‑oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Physical Demands The work environment requires lifting or moving up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and exposure to blood, animal dander, manure, dust, odors, and noisy conditions.
