What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological assessments and screenings based on available records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff
• Make routine rounds in confined housing areas to monitor inmate adjustment
• Address behavioral health issues with evidence-based techniques
• Ensure continuity of care and follow-up on treatment plans

What You Need

• Valid, unrestricted license or board eligibility in psychology
• Experience with psychological assessment and counseling preferred
• Understanding of correctional mental health protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
