What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological assessments and screenings for inmates
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention
• Collaborate with psychiatric, medical, and correctional staff to coordinate inmate care
• Perform routine rounds in confined housing areas to assess mental health needs
• Utilize psychological counseling techniques suited to inmate populations
• Address mental health crises promptly with appropriate interventions

What You Need
Required:

• Valid licensure or board eligibility as a Psychologist
• BLS certification (or pending)
• Experience in psychological assessment and mental health treatment (preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience working in correctional or similar environments
• Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and assessments

About the Assignment
This opportunity involves providing comprehensive mental health care within a correctional facility setting, supporting inmates' mental well-being through assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring. The role will be split between two facilities, ensuring a dynamic and impactful work experience.
