Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: State license required; pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; PALS preferred Must-Have: Critical Care, General Care experience with adults and/or pediatrics Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care to patients in critical and general care settings. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, management, and diagnostics of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. The therapist will perform procedures involving aerosol setup and administration of prescribed medications. Skills required include interpretation of arterial blood gases and tracheostomy care. The role involves working with ventilators and providing pulmonary hygiene. Weekend coverage is required as necessary. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. The position supports interdisciplinary care and patient education. Strong clinical and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
