Pediatrician

We are seeking a full-time Pediatrician to join an independent pediatric practice serving an established patient community in Southwest Las Vegas.

• Hospital and newborn rounding responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive care for children from birth through adolescence, including:

• Well-child visits and preventive care
• Newborn and infant care
• Same-day sick visits
• Developmental and behavioral screenings
• Immunizations
• Sports and school physicals
• Management of common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Family education and anticipatory guidance
• Hospital and newborn rounding
• Participation in the practice's shared call schedule

The incoming Pediatrician will have a meaningful voice in the clinical environment, including visit templates, scheduling, triage protocols, standing orders, patient education, staffing needs, and the overall patient experience.

• Communicates clearly and works well with clinical and administrative staff
• Is comfortable providing outpatient care, hospital rounding, and shared call coverage
• Values professional autonomy within a well-supported practice environment
• Wants to build lasting relationships with an established pediatric community
• Is interested in contributing clinical insight without being responsible for managing the business

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics through the ABP or AOBP
• Active Nevada medical license or eligibility and willingness to obtain one before starting
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS and PALS certification or willingness to obtain them before starting
• Eligibility to obtain hospital privileges
• Ability to successfully complete commercial payer credentialing

Spanish-speaking candidates are especially encouraged to apply, although bilingual proficiency is not required.
