Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)We are seeking a locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage in a Level III Trauma hospital in Douglas, WY. This role includes a mix of inpatient, outpatient surgery, and L&D cases, with a manageable daily volume and flexible monthly scheduling.ScheduleCoverage: 2 weeks per monthShift: Monday–FridayHours: Typically 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (dependent on case volume)No additional call requirements specifiedPractice SettingHospital-based settingInpatient, Outpatient Surgery, and Labor & DeliveryTrauma Level IIIPatient Volume: 7–10 cases per dayPatient population: Mostly adult, light pediatricsNo surgical patients under age 3 (except L&D/neonatal cases)Clinical ResponsibilitiesAdminister anesthesia for a variety of surgical proceduresProvide general and local anesthesiaPerform regional blocks and epidurals (required)Manage anesthesia care for L&D, including neonatal support as neededMonitor patients before, during, and after proceduresCollaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure safe patient careRequirementsCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Active Wyoming license or IMLC eligibilityACLS certification (required for conscious sedation privileges)PALS (AHA) requiredExperience with epidurals, regional blocks, and general anesthesiaComfortable with light pediatric and neonatal (L&D) casesDouglas offers a quiet, small-town atmosphere with beautiful Wyoming landscapes and outdoor recreation.
