Join a collaborative ecosystem of five full-time faculty managing over 4,000 patient contacts annually. The division's reach extends across Texas, Louisiana, and Latin America, providing you with an incredibly diverse and complex patient population.

• Maxine Mesinger MS Comprehensive Care Center: BMC's flagship multidisciplinary hub, where you’ll collaborate with hand-picked experts in neuro-urology, neuro-ophthalmology, physiatry, and neuroradiology.
• A Life-Span Approach: Direct access to unique clinical sites, including Texas Children’s Hospital (Pediatric Demyelinating Diseases) and Harris Health (Safety-net care), ensuring a truly comprehensive clinical experience.
• Comprehensive Breadth: Beyond MS, you will lead the charge in treating NMOSD, MOGAD, neurosarcoidosis, and autoimmune encephalitis.

Baylor has been at the forefront of nearly every major MS drug trial over the last few decades.

• The Cutting Edge: They are a key site for the NIH-funded BEAT-MS study, pioneering hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for MS.
• Resource Support: Whether your focus is Phase II/III clinical trials or translational bench-to-bedside research, BCM provides the protected time and infrastructure to ensure your work is published and impactful.

We are recruiting at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level with multiple distinct trajectories:

• For the Rising Clinician-Investigator: Join as Assistant Professor and benefit from a flexible effort split. The division can offer the mentorship and patient volume to help you build a national reputation and a thriving specialized practice. If your interest is in research, they can offer support and ample protected time to pursue research.
• For Faculty focused on heavy clinical load: this is one of the top MS practices clinically in the region. You will be able to develop your clinical practice along your lines of interest and ramp up quickly.
• For the Future Division Chief: We are seeking a Senior Leader with a vision. Joining the division now will create a clear succession plan to transition into the Division Chief role within the next year, receiving direct mentorship and "institutional memory" from the current Chief prior to his retirement.
