Responsibilities The Lead Safety Manager in Houston, TX will support specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction project within the pharmaceutical facility ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsDaily safety audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsWrite job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP) Qualifications Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety experience required, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing safety teams.Must have experience supporting large capital projects within pharmaceutical and or biotechnology environmentsOSHA 500 is a plusActive BCSP certification is highly preferredAdvance knowledge of construction safety standards and pharmaceutical safety protocolsGreat verbal and written communication Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety processProficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability Overview HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
