Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Communicates changes in patient status effectively to support continuity of care and patient safety. Supervises ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately, and providing direction and training. Ensures personal and environmental safety according to hospital and nursing policies. Contributes positively to team dynamics and unit operations, including participating in team-building activities.
