About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: Active BLS Must-Have: - Current Epic EMR proficiency - Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience Description: The Registered Nurse will work primarily in a Comprehensive Medical Unit. The nurse may also occasionally float between various Med-Surg units. Night shift hours are from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement for this position. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required. Refresher courses are not available. Documentation of EMR proficiency must be included in the application. Active BLS certification is required. The nurse must have a minimum of 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience. The ability to read Telemetry is essential and will be tested on the first day of work. Failure to pass the competency test will result in termination. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission. Hours may be adjusted, and the facility reserves the right to cancel hours as needed. Holiday coverage may be required.
