The Medical Administrative Assistant will support the daily operations of the company by providing administrative and clerical support to the medical team. This individual will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operations, as well as provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel

- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for medical team

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

- Process and file medical documents and records

- Prepare and submit insurance claims and handle billing inquiries

- Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies

- Coordinate and schedule meetings and events, both in-person and virtual

- Perform general office duties, such as data entry, filing, and scanning

- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical administrative role

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
