Neurology Physician Assistant

Highly regarded neurology team in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area is looking to add an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to their growing practice! Responsibilities: Full-time permanent position - Neurology 100% outpatient 4 or 5 days per week with 8 or 10 hour shifts (flexible) 32 to 40 hours per week (flexible) No nights and no weekends Function independently to perform histories and physicals for acute and chronically ill neurological patients Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to the patient's age-specific needs Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment modalities Collaborate with the primary neurologist of each patient Perform office procedures including trigger point injections and occipital nerve block Qualifications: Experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in neurology or other relevant fields Relevant clinical rotations in neurology Ability to obtain Minnesota PA or NP license Ability to establish rapport with patients and families Excellent interpersonal skills Benefits: Highly completive base salary plus bonuses 401(k) with matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance FSA $3500 CME allowance Malpractice insurance Life insurance Employee Assistance Program Long Term Disability
