Lab Assistant

Specimen AccessionerThe role involves processing specimens and making outbound calls to clients to troubleshoot any incorrect specimens, such as missing forms, incorrect names on samples, or wrong samples sent.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the 7am morning sample volumeSort, re-label, scan, and rack all molecular samples.Assist in HIV specimen processing.Essential SkillsLaboratory processingData entryAccessioningSample collectionAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment.Experience in specimen processing or a related field is highly preferred.Work EnvironmentTuesday - Friday 7am - 4pm or until samples are completed. Saturday 8am - 5pm or until samples are completed.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
