Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Location Marshall, MI and Battle Creek, MI

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Days: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to plan and administer medically prescribed treatment programs for patients. The goal is to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. The therapist will be required to work 3 days in Marshall, MI and 2 days in Battle Creek, MI, with both facilities located 17 miles apart.

Responsibilities Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic interventions to promote rehabilitation. Monitor and document patient progress towards recovery goals. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families regarding treatments and recovery strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy with both adult and pediatric populations. Outpatient experience is required. Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license. American Heart Association BLS certification. Strong pediatric experience is required. Previous travel experience is preferred. Must possess a clean driving record and have an insurable vehicle.
