In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Some relevant industry experienceMust obtain required licenses/credentialsSuperior command of verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsEssential Functions and Primary DutiesProactively prospect and generate new B2B business through cold calling, networking, field outreach, and digital engagement.Achieve annual new revenue targets through consultative sales to new clients.Act as a high-activity “door opener,” focused on displacing legacy providers and winning net-new logos.Manage the full sales cycle including discovery, solution development, proposal presentation, contract negotiation, and closing.Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and prospect interactions within CRM systems.Document and analyze won and lost opportunities to improve sales strategy and forecasting.Partner with internal implementation and client service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.Identify and support cross-selling opportunities across additional service lines.Provide leadership with insights on market trends, competitive activity, and client needs.Contribute to personal and professional development through annual goal setting and performance planning.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of full-suite HCM and payroll sales experience (Outside B2B sales)Experience selling to mid-market organizations (50–500 employees)Proven track record of prospecting new logos, quota attainment, and sales successPositive, persistent, and self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive under pressureEstablished networkBachelor's DegreePosting Date: 2026-09-10
