Food Service Assistant

Holbrook SDA Indian School in Holbrook, AZ The Food Service Assistant plays an essential role in the daily operation of the school’s food service program by supporting meal preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting with kitchen organization. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service in a health-conscious, Christ-centered environment. The successful team member works closely with the Food Service Director and team to ensure smooth meal service and a welcoming dining experience for students and staff. Required Experience An Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or equivalent experience (2-4 years). Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation standards. Ability to prioritize, organize, and drive diverse activities. Adaptability to new systems and procedures. Proficient in written and verbal interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail, strong sense of follow-through, and confidentiality. Working Knowledge of Microsoft Suite/Google Office. Ability to meet goals independent of supervision. A Practicing member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Preferred Qualifications Certification in food safety management (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
