This role will be responsible for leading overall Health Safety and Environment organization to create an interdependent culture enabling injury free workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HS&E management systems, ensuring adherence to standards

• Create action plans to achieve HS&E targets and interpret them for modules/departments

• Lead HSE incident investigations

• Ensure root cause analysis and timely completion of corrective actions

• Foster leadership support for HS&E activities and advise on program gaps

• Track and report accurate HS&E data to corporate systems

• Communicate HSE performance and plans, maintain site scorecard and masterplan

• Establish a network of capable Technology and System Owners for HSE objectives

• Identify staffing needs and provide appropriate training
• Ensure HSE technology owners possess necessary skills and address gaps
• Develop realistic succession and backup plans for key HSE roles
• Stay informed about upcoming changes in HSE regulations and prepare the site accordingly.
• Continuous improvement of HS&E systems by leveraging digital tools

Job Qualifications

Required

• BS or MS degree in Engineering.

• 2-5 years of Health, Safety and environment experience and team leadership

• Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills

• An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations

Preferred

• Preferred: Industrial
