Ultrasound Tech (Echo/Vascular)- Cardiopulmonary- Full Time- $15,000 Sign On Bonus

Cardiac Sonographer
Cardiac Sonographers work with doctors to assess a patient's heart condition through the detailed images taken during an echocardiogram. Vascular Technologists assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of disorders affecting the vascular system. The RSDS/RVT should know how to respond appropriately in emergencies.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology program that is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CMHEP) is required.
- Associate degree in Science or Equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
- Experience in Echocardiography or Vascular preferred
Required Licenses
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) **if not currently registered in echocardiography must obtain RDCS or RCS within 1 year
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), optional
- Compliance with Continuing Education Requirements
- BLS
