Member Service Representative

Our client, a financial services organization, is seeking a Member Service Representative to join their team. As a Member Service Representative, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting daily banking operations and member interactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Member Service Representative Location: Altoona, PA Pay Range: $37440 - $37440 Shift: Hours vary by day What's the Job? Greet and assist members with courteous, professional service while processing transactions efficiently Balance cash drawers and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy Receive deposits, verify amounts, and process withdrawals in accordance with policies Educate members about the credit union’s products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities Handle payments for loans and other financial transactions, entering data into the system What's Needed? High School Diploma required; banking experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer/member service skills and high attention to detail Ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently Understanding of credit union policies, depository regulations, and security procedures What's in it for me?
