Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical‑Surgical Location: Beaufort, SC Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $1,929 per week Shift: Nights – 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 7/29/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN for the Beaufort, SC location. The role is a Stepdown/Med‑Surg (MS/Tele) nurse that frequently floats between units. Must be comfortable with stepping down and floating rapidly. A 50‑mile radius restriction applies; no pediatric experience required, but nurses without pediatric experience will not see pediatric patients. Responsibilities Provide RN care in Stepdown unit (ratios 1:4‑5) and Med‑Surg unit (ratios 1:5‑6). Float to Med‑Surg, MS/Tele, and other units as needed. Administer blood products, manage feeding tubes, heparin, peripheral lines, and renal‑failure care. Use Rapid Response/Code teams and complete NIHSS assessments. Document in Meditech EMR. Adhere to BCLS, NIHSS, and other required certifications. Vaccinations: COVID‑19 vaccine required; flu vaccine required. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years Med‑Surg experience; experience in Stepdown/PCU and MS nurses preferred. SC licensed RN; valid state license required. BCLS and NIHSS certifications required. Meditech EMR experience (preferred). Comfortable with nights (19:00‑07:00) and rotating schedules including weekends and holidays. Allowed 50‑mile radius travel; must be able to float within the hospital. Contract Details Nights – 3 days x 12 hours (19:00‑07:00). 13‑week contract starting 7/29/2026.
