2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorGeneral Hours of Work: 2:30pm - 11:00pmThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials and products, supporting plant operations, and ensuring accurate handling of inventory and documentation. This role requires communication with high-rise team members to coordinate material flow.Key Responsibilities:Load outgoing finished goods according to customer and quality specificationsUnload incoming materials and move products to designated storage areas, including coolers and high-rise storageTransport materials within the facility using a forklift, pallet jack, or yard dog as assignedVerify shipping and receiving documentation, pallet accuracy, and counts in the systemInspect pallets for condition prior to movement or storagePerform other related duties as assignedMaintain a clean and safe work area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Qualifications:Forklift operation experience or ability to obtain certificationAbility to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and effectivelyAbility to follow detailed instructions and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation and inventoryAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBasic verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Excel for tracking and documentation
