About the Facility

This 300-bed acute care general medical and surgical facility operates as a Level 3 hospital, providing a broad range of surgical and medical services to the regional patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support call-based general surgery coverage on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

About the Facility Location

West Virginia offers clinicians on assignment access to regional attractions and year-round outdoor recreation. The state features opportunities for hiking, water activities, and scenic natural landscapes, alongside cultural venues and community events distributed across the region. Clinicians will find a range of dining, local experiences, and leisure activities available throughout their time on assignment.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts at an on-site inpatient facility in West Virginia, with coverage required September 26 through September 28. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and no clinic duties are associated with this position. Board certification in General Surgery is negotiable for this locum tenens engagement.
