Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, supporting respiratory therapy procedures and emergency interventions. Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical standards during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer respiratory treatments and therapy to patients according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gases and pulse oximetry.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all certification, licensing, and safety standards, including BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT).
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid South Carolina RCP license and NBRC (RRT) certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent critical care experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to work independently and within a team.
  
  
• 
  Capable of floating within hospital units, including labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all credentialing requirements prior to start date.
