Director of Operations – Firehouse Subs (Houston, TX)

Firehouse Subs is seeking an experienced, people-focused Director of Operations to oversee approximately 5 high-performing locations across the Houston area. What You’ll Do

As our Director of Operations, you’ll be the driving force behind your market’s success. You will:

Lead, mentor, and develop 5+ General Managers and their teams

Ensure operational excellence across all locations

Drive sales growth, traffic, and profitability

Deliver top-tier guest service and uphold brand standards

Optimize labor, food cost, scheduling, and inventory management

Implement company initiatives and execute training programs

Foster a positive culture that supports engagement, retention, and high performance

Analyze performance metrics and create action plans for continuous improvement

Support new store openings, remodels, and ongoing brand development

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience (QSR or Fast Casual preferred)

Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable

Proven track record of improving operations and achieving sales goals

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

A hands-on, people-first management style

Ability to travel between Houston-area stores regularly

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
