Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,355 per week

Overview Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Responsibilities Provide care for adult patients with various medical conditions in a high-acuity setting (oncology and trauma common in this unit). Perform patient assessments, administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain documentation in the EMR and ensure accuracy of patient records. Demonstrate teamwork, respect for cultural diversity, and commitment to patient safety. Qualifications Valid nursing license to practice in Nebraska. ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or ONCC certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar step-down/PCU or high-acuity setting. EPIC electronic medical records experience within the last 6 months. Ventilator monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred (includes CVP, A-Line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000). Ability to titrate drips (e.g., insulin, Cardizem) and perform hourly rounding as required. Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts; 36 hours per week minimum.
