Construction Project Manager in Fairfax

Overview Join our team as a Construction Project Manager and lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multi-family housing units renovation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all phases of renovation, from schedule coordination to project completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. As a key driver of project success, you will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Your expertise will be vital in orchestrating seamless project workflows. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of renovation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure project specifications are met accurately. Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards; conduct regular site inspections. Facilitate precise execution of project plans. Monitor project timelines and adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays. Maintain comprehensive documentation including incident reports, change orders, and progress logs for transparency and accountability. Supervise and direct team of carpenters, electricians, and painters. Track workers' hours and submit bi-weekly timesheets to payroll department. Other duties as assigned. Experience Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in apartment renovation projects. Extensive site experience demonstrating hands‑on knowledge of construction processes and safety practices. Strong understanding of project management principles including time management, project coordination, and contract negotiations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
