This onsite Human Resources Director role serves as a strategic partner across key hospital functions and may include being assigned as Administrator On-Call (AOC) , including completing rounding on patient units and throughout the facility. Responsibilities Oversee full cycle recruitment , including researching roles, understanding the facility’s staffing needs, sourcing candidates, leveraging the ATS , conducting interviews, supporting selection, negotiating employment offers, and assisting with new employee orientation. Implement and maintain proactive recruitment and retention strategies in alignment with facility goals. Maintain and collaborate with management on position control according to the facility budget. Use HRIS systems to manage data input requirements and report writing needs. Implement and direct engagement and retention programs , including onboarding for the Behavioral Health facilities , and oversee employee engagement activities. Ensure overall HR compliance , including proper maintenance of HR files and records, correct hiring and employment practices, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required ; Master’s preferred . PHR, SPHR and/or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred . 5-8 years of related work experience required; 8-10 years preferred . Previous management experience required . Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Previous related healthcare/hospital experience preferred . Strong communication , problem-solving , and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR/employment laws and regulations and compliance with administrative agencies .
