Title Company Funding Team Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Company Funding Team Clerk to support the post-closing and funding process. This role is responsible for reviewing closing documents, verifying financial information, and ensuring that all required items are in place prior to funding.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working with financial documentation to ensure wires and checks are processed accurately and on time. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, providing flexibility to work both in-office and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Review signed closing document scans received from notaries prior to funding
- Verify that all required documents are properly executed and complete
- Submit files for funding authorization as required by lenders
- Confirm payoff statements, tax invoices, and other file-related invoices are accurate and properly documented
- Coordinate with lenders, processors, and closing teams to ensure funding requirements are met
- Assist with preparing files for wire transfers and check disbursements
- Maintain organized and accurate records for funding transactions
- Ensure funding deadlines are met and transactions are completed in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or title company funding required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to review financial documents with accuracy
- Experience working in a title company or real estate closing environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple parties
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
