About the Position

Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specified areas License: Must have an active license in hand prior to start date Certifications: Required certifications as specified in the job description Must-Have: Charge experience preferred; minimum 2 years in Circulate, General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resection (all within the last 3 years) Description: A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed. Charge pay is offered for eligible candidates. Candidates must have an Indiana or Compact license or have submitted their fingerprint application. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a call requirement of 40-60 hours in a 6-week schedule. Local candidates are not accepted. Experience in the following areas within the last 3 years is required: General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics, and Liver resection. Experience with the Da Vinci XI surgical system is also required. Travelers may be expected to perform charge duties when requested if within their job scope. Scrub experience is a plus. Candidates should have proficiency with charting systems, specifically Epic. Floating to other areas within the facility is required. Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Two supervisor references are required for submission. Applicants must meet specified experience requirements to qualify.
