Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching certification
• Experience instructing students with varying disabilities and needs
• Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
• Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for empowering students and building positive relationships

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction both in small groups and 1:1 settings
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate students’ unique learning styles
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communications
• Foster a safe, respectful, and productive classroom atmosphere
• Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
