Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer (Town of Texas)

Ascension Search Partners is retained to hire a transformational Chief Human Resource and Administration Officer to serve as a strategic partner to a dynamic and highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team. This executive will lead the organization's people strategy while helping shape the employee and customer experience across a dynamic and fast paced complex, business enterprise.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO will be responsible for entire human resource function and team inclusive of enterprise people strategy, organizational capability, leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition, employee experience, customer experience philosophy, HR operations, organizational design, change leadership, culture, total rewards, internal and external communication, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled workforce transformation. This Executive will serve as one of the CEO's closest advisors and help align people strategy with enterprise growth. This CHRO will have a unique opportunity to evaluate and perfect leadership capability and strengthen succession planning, further elevate talent acquisition, drive organizational effectiveness, support acquisitions while leveraging AI and workforce analytics, to ensure the company's culture remains a competitive advantage as the company continues to scale.

Primary Duties:

• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to align people strategy with business strategy.
• Design and execute enterprise leadership development and succession planning.
• Lead talent acquisition strategy and executive recruiting for a growing multi-site organization.
• Oversee HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and core HR functions.
• Champion employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
• Integrate employee experience with customer experience through a hospitality-inspired service culture.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management associated with growth and acquisitions.
• Develop people analytics and AI-enabled solutions that reduce administrative work and improve decision making.
• Provide executive oversight of total rewards strategy, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws while maintaining a pragmatic business-first approach.
• Serve as executive sponsor for culture initiatives and enterprise leadership capability.

Educational/Experience Level:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive HR or people leadership experience, inclusive of having served as the top Human Resource executive in an organization.
• Executive leadership experience supporting a complex multi-site organization.
• Experience in progressive hospitality, luxury services, consumer services, retail, restaurants, or service-centric industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success building leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness programs.
• Strong business acumen with experience partnering directly with CEOs and executive teams.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, organizational growth, and change management.
