Medical Assistant

Actalent is Hiring Medical Assistants in Fleming Island!!
Responsibilities

• Collect patient demographics and update electronic health records.
• Triage patients based on their symptoms and medical history.
• Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and patient care.
• Perform front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment to maintain patient safety.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced clinic.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certification, or 1+ years of medical assistant experience.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology.
• Strong understanding of healthcare procedures and medical assisting practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Environment

• This position requires working onsite at a primary care clinic, handling 20-30 patients a day.
• The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
