Patient Care Tech

Role Overview: A Patient Care Technician is a vital member of the nursing team, providing hands-on support to ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity. Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support procedures and recovery. Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and support device use. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock of patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces to ensure safety and efficiency. Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to uphold infection control and readiness. Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team, promoting safety and quality. Qualifications & Skills: Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days; certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or relevant work experience. Key Responsibilities: Support patient care activities, ensure environmental safety, manage supplies, and foster effective communication with patients and staff.
