ACCOUNTANT

You will serve as an Accountant in the Special Assistant for Resource Management Directorate, Commander, NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES (COMNAVIFOR). In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-11) or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Establishing and maintaining account reference data using various financial management systems to include the Navy's official financial accounting system, Navy Enterprise Resource Program (NERP), and the Navy's data analytics system, Jupiter/Advana. Extracting and preparing a variety of reports and forms for data calls and reports. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving accounting system problems and discrepancies. Developing training materials and standard operating procedures related to accounting/ financial system processes and holding trainings with a large audience. Coordinating and maintaining relationships with individuals outside of immediate work unit to meet various stakeholder's system needs.
