Quality Manager

Quality Manager – Raleigh, NC

Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established manufacturing client in the Raleigh area who is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead site-wide quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring product quality, driving customer satisfaction, and strengthening quality culture across a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for the full quality function at site level. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure robust quality systems, reduce defects, and drive a proactive, prevention-focused approach to quality.

The business is focused on operational excellence and is looking for a leader who can balance technical expertise with strong people leadership and cross-functional influence.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the site Quality function and quality team
• Owning and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Driving compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements
• Managing internal and external audits
• Leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Reducing scrap, defects, and customer returns
• Partnering with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance
• Handling customer quality issues and escalations
• Developing and mentoring quality engineers and inspectors

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing quality leadership
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar QMS standards
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or regulated manufacturing preferred
• Proven track record of leading audits and corrective actions
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
• Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus

Package:

• Base salary: $100,000 – $135,000
