Float Requirement: Yes, to other Units; Like any Medical Unit, EDBH or the geriatric BH unit within the facility. It, however, is most likely EDBH or our sister BH unit

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Patient Diagnoses: schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, major depression

Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR

Scheduling Type: Schedule per needs

Unit Orientation: 24 hours

Hospital Orientation week one: traveler must be available for classes each day

Scrubs: Solid print navy blue or white

Submission Process: All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review

Submission Details: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles): Lower rate applies. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting: See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules Non-Acute: ~4-5 hours of modules Must be completed pre-start and annually (varies by specialty) Conducted online - must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser
