Paralegal – IP Litigation (ITC Focus)
150,000 - 175,000
An international law firm is seeking a Paralegal to support its Intellectual Property litigation practice, with a focus on U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) Section 337 investigations. This role supports attorneys handling complex, high-stakes disputes involving global clients and technical subject matter.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and manage litigation documents through electronic filing systems, ensuring compliance with procedural rules and deadlines
- Support discovery processes, including document collection, review coordination, and production workflows
- Assist in preparing deposition materials, witness files, and case organization
- Review and summarize discovery responses, testimony, and technical/legal materials
- Conduct factual and legal research and prepare case chronologies and demonstratives
- Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit lists, motions, and pre-trial submissions
- Support trial operations, including exhibit tracking, transcript review, and coordination of trial logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
- 5+ years of IP litigation experience preferred
- Experience with ITC Section 337 proceedings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with litigation tools such as EDIS, PACER, Westlaw, Lexis, Relativity, and document management systems preferred
