Job Description Postdoctoral Associate , Amyloidosis Center, Boston University Chobanian Avedisian School of Medicine Location: Boston, Massachusetts Position Type: Full Time/Regular Salary: $67,500.00 – $70,000.00 (range based on qualifications, experience, etc.) Category: Boston University Medical Campus – Postdoctoral Position Overview The Boston University Amyloidosis Center seeks an experienced scientist to join an interdisciplinary team focused on understanding and developing new treatments for systemic amyloidosis. The role involves working with a unique archive of clinical data and samples, applying protein biochemistry and cell biology approaches to model systems and patient samples to identify disease mechanisms that can be targeted by novel therapeutics and translating that knowledge into potential drug candidates. Responsibilities Design and perform high-quality, innovative research projects; analyze multidimensional data with statistical approaches; publish peer‑reviewed articles; compete for external funding; maintain excellent communication and organizational skills.
