RN Clinical Supervisor

Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development Perform “Start of Care Assessments” and “Re-evaluations” to transition patients from facilities to home care Review physicians’ orders and update care plans and documentation as needed Assist in interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff Enhance the clinical expertise of field staff to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care Collaborate with the operations and business development team Ensure compliance with State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies and procedures Manage a caseload of medically fragile patients Assist with hospital discharges and coordinate start-of-care processes Mentor and guide field staff in patient homes Validate nurse competencies and drive positive patient outcomes Requirements Current, good-standing RN license in the state of practice At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the designated territory Reliable transportation Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC) Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults Compliance with applicable health-related requirements, including vaccinations and testing, subject to medical or religious exemptions Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in nursing talent development, patient assessment, and care plan management while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
